Horses kept in squares A text and movement performance about horses, (body) language, rivers, and distances, containing two aquariums filled with water, a coin, an apple, a citron, two notes, a frame, and a microphone. Throughout the performance, an audio recording plays, telling the background story through text and sound.

Wat krijg je als je groen en rood mengtIn the performance, the developments from caterpillar to butterfly are visible in abstraction. The caterpillar crawls through tunnels of frames to take bites out of apples. Postures play a central role. 

Throughout the performance, an audio recording plays, complementing the movements with sounds and quoting instructions on how to fold a paper deer. Like the caterpillar, the flat paper undergoes a transition. The frames are custom-made to body length and shoe size.
